From Castel near King Edward VII hospital, has been known to visit and has potentially been seen in Sausmarez Park

FOUND 7th July 2025
Gus has been missing since 29 March 2025 from the King Edward VII Hospital area, Castel.
He has previously been missing and had been found near the old Folk Museum at Sausmarez Park, so the focus was on finding him in the same area. Thanks to Janie for watching out for him, it took 7 days before he was seen, and she followed him to a nearby house. Further watching proved that he was visiting the garden but he was not being fed by the owners of the property, however he was clearly being fed by someone. Talking to neighbours, the ‘feeder’ was not identified, however it is hoped that the ‘feeder’ may be have been amongst those questioned and will not feed him in the future.
Jake at the Guernsey Folk Museum called Janie this morning at 10am, as Gus had returned to the park. By the time Janie got there Gus had returned to the nearby house and with the help of the homeowner Gus was caught.
Gus is now safe and well at home with his family
