🎉 COOKIE IS GOING HOME AFTER 16 MONTHS MISSING! 🎉 3 October 2026
It’s the wonderful news her owners have been hoping for… COOKIE IS FINALLY ON HER WAY HOME!
A lovely lady called Erin reached out after noticing a cat visiting her garden for several months. At first, the little visitor seemed to be in reasonable health, but on closer inspection, Erin noticed worms — and that prompted her to start doing some serious detective work. Searching through the missing cat posts, she began to wonder… could this be Cookie? Cookie disappeared from the Auberge du Val area in June 2025.
This morning, Janie delivered a scanner — and within just a few hours, we had the answer… it WAS Cookie!
Her delighted owner had actually spotted Cookie a few times over the past 16 months, but sadly hadn’t been able to keep hold of her. Now, after all this time, Cookie is finally heading home where she belongs. 💕
And this is where YOU come in…
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we’ve been able to make sure Cookie and her owner have everything they need for her homecoming — cat litter, a tray, bed, toys, food, treats and bowls so there’s no frantic Saturday-night dash around trying to find supplies after the shops have closed! What an incredible team effort. To everyone who supports us and makes these happy endings possible — THANK YOU! 🙌
🎉 WELCOME HOME, COOKIE! 🎉
