MISSING FOR OVER A YEAR!
“We were absolutely delighted to reunite this dear little boy with his family this afternoon. Tiago has been missing from his home in Torteval since 12 June 2020, and he was found at Le Bigard, Forest. Thank you so much to Sarah, who found him and contacted us. We asked her to bring him in to us so that he could be scanned for a microchip, and he was able to be reunited with his happy, but rather shocked, family.
This highlights yet again, that if you have a stray cat around your property, please do not ‘shoo shoo’ it away, as it could be lost and in need of help. If you ignore these cats, or ‘shoo’ them away, they may never be found. Luckily for Tiago, Sarah contacted us, and although he appears to have kept himself well fed, he has a few scabs, and he had quite a few fleas too. He received worm and flea treatment courtesy of Guernsey Animal Aid before leaving us for his journey home.”
