MISSING FOR ALMOST THREE YEARS!

“Just a few days ago, we posted about the importance of NOT chasing a ‘stray’ cat away from your property. This dear little soul is the very reason for that post. Sue recently received a call from a lady who lives near L’Eree, St Peters, who had a cat hanging around her property. The cat had been eating her hedgehog food, and had even been caught on camera eating left over bird seed.

Last night, Sue caught the cat after setting a humane trap, and on scanning her for a microchip, this cat turned out to be Bibby who went missing on 7 January 2022. She has been missing for almost 3 years.

Sue called her owner this morning, and as you can imagine, she is totally stunned to receive this news. We cannot express enough that if you see a cat on your prooerty, that you haven’t seen before, that eating your cat food or even hedgehog food, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT CHASE IT AWAY. If everyone did this and the cat is lost, HOW will it ever be found or reunited with its family? The cat may have a microchip which we can scan for, and we can also post a photo on our page too.

Thank goodness Bibby was NOT chased away!”
