MISSING FOR THREE MONTHS!

“Just a couple of weeks ago, we were approached by a lovely lady called Karen who lives near the Deerhound, Forest to say that she had a cat appear in her garden. She tried to catch this little cat, but sadly to no avail, so we set some humane cat traps.

We first thought that this may be Midnight who is currently missing from the Forest Road area. Sue had been checking the traps on a regular basis, using different methods. The little cat would put her paws through the bars to try to get to the food, but she just would not go into the trap. Karen tried to coax her gently into the house, but this did not work either.

On Monday this week, Sue and Marianne returned to the property to see if they could come up with any other ideas, and Karen invited them in for a cup of tea. Whilst sitting down and talking, Karen said that this little cat had a lot of fur loss on her tail. Elmoth immediately sprang to our minds and even though she was missing from town, we knew from past experience how far a cat could travel. We contacted Elmoth’s owner, and she went to Karen’s house, and called Elmoth. The little cat came running up, but still being very nervous, was unable to be caught, and she ran off again. With perseverance, it took a few days to finally catch her, and she is now safe at home with her very relieved owner. Apart from a few parasites and weight loss, the vet has said that Elmoth appears healthy. We are absolutely delighted that Elmoth is finally home!”
