Sue trapped this cat yesterday at Fort George, St Peter Port, and this morning he has been reunited with his family. The lady who reported him had been told not to feed him and he would go home. Thankfully she ignored this extremely bad advice and contacted Guernsey Animal Aid.
As it turns out Beau had been missing for 10 months, and had he been ‘shooed’ away it is very unlikely that he would have been found. Whilst we do not advise feeding a cat that isn’t yours, in some cases it is essential to feed a possible stray cat so that it can be caught and scanned for a microchip
