MISSING FOR SIX YEARS!
“Recently, a lady contacted us to ask for help with a stray cat that was coming in to her house, and stealing food. We put her in contact with Sue, who set a trap at the property, which was behind the Puffin & Oyster, at Les Houmets.
Although the cat was very hungry, and went into the trap, it appeared that she was wily enough to miss setting the trap plate off, and so a smaller food bowl was put in place and the cat was caught this morning.
This dear cat, called Lalana had moved to the Vale with her family some years ago, but she had managed to escape after being frightened, and sadly all efforts to find her came to nothing. It appears that Lalana had tried to find her way back to her old home, and had remained in the surrounding area for all this time. Thank you so much to Sophie for contacting us and making this reunion possible. Lalana’s family are incredibly grateful to Sue and Sophie, they had given up hope of ever finding her, and had even come to the worst conclusion. Owner Hayden, collected Lalana this afternoon, and it is clear to see the sheer joy at finally finding this dear little girl
IF YOU HAVE A STRAY, PLEASE DO NOT CHASE IT AWAY~IT COULD BE SOMEONE’S MISSING PET!”
