REUNITED~TIAGO FOUND AFTER BEING MISSING FOR 3+ YEARS
As many of you know, we rarely ever switch off. We constantly find ourselves worrying about, and thinking of the little cats that have gone missing, and we are always busy behind the scenes doing everything we can to help reunite them with their families.
When we are made aware of a stray cat, we immediately dive into our records to see how and if we can help.
This is exactly what happened when Marianne was alerted to a “stray” tabby cat that was currently with the GSPCA, having been found at Icart, St Martins. Although they were unable to detect a microchip, Marianne instantly thought of Tiago, who had been missing from his home for quite some time, and set about about digging back through old missing social media posts. She compared the photos and right down to the tiny slash of white on his nose, she was 99.9% certain this was Tiago.
Marianne made contact with his owner and sent the photos of Tiago across to her. His owner was absolutely stunned that he had been found after all this time. Thank goodness for Marianne’s intuition! To cut a long story short, Tiago is finally back home with his family. He has lost a lot of weight, but he is otherwise healthy, happy, and purring up a storm. His family are in tears of absolute joy and delighted to have him back where he belongs.
